The video essay affords you the opportunity to showcase your personality and critical thinking skills. You will have 90 seconds to respond to a randomly-generated question, pulled from pool of questions written by the Admissions Committee. We are not looking for perfection here — lead with authenticity.

In the Darden application's employment history section, you will provide basic details about your various roles and responsibilities. So, use your resume to highlight your leadership and impact. What have you accomplished in your roles? And whenever possible, try to quantify your results.
As per Darden MBA admissions team's Instructions: a resume is also an opportunity to display your personality and offer insights about your passions and interests. Hobbies, favorite activities, books you’ve read recently, podcasts you’re currently listening to, countries you’ve visited. It’s all fair game. Darden requires one recommendation as part of our application process. As per Darden's admissions team, candidates may include a second recommendation with their materials, if desired. However, make sure this additional recommender is offering new insights regarding you and your candidacy.

Darden interviews are unique. They are blind interviews, which means your interviewer will not have read or reviewed your application or résumé. It is Darden's policy to conduct anonymous interviews, so there is no need to send in your résumé for the interview. Each interview will be 30–45 minutes in length.
Open Interviews: Early Action applicants can interview from August through the end of September on a first come, first served basis. Early Action open interview availability will be announced in early August.
Invitation-Only Interviews: For those who apply in Rounds 1, 2 or 3, an invitation-only interview is conducted after your application has been submitted and reviewed by the admissions committee.
