Krannert Purdue Essays 2016-2017

You are required to complete and submit the Statement of Purpose, along with ONE required essays (there is an optional essay).

Statement of Purpose. Please submit a statement introducing yourself to the admissions committee. Some topics you may wish to discuss include: (500 words max)

a. Brief academic and professional background

b. Reason for seeking an MBA or Master's degree at Purdue

c. Desired career path after graduation

d. Your thoughts on giving back as a student and as an alumnus

Essay. Integrity: What does integrity mean to you? How does integrity relate to building communities of trust in academic, personal and professional settings? What expectations should Purdue have towards its students with regards to academic integrity? What consequences should students who do not uphold these standards face? (500 words max)

Optional Essay. If you feel there are any parts of your application that require additional explanation, or if there is any additional information you wish to share with the admissions committee, please use this optional essay as an opportunity to do so. (250 words max)

Essay 2. Krannert is a global and diverse program in many dimensions; explain how you feel your past experiences would contribute to the diversity and global experience of the Krannert classroom, teamwork, and leadership experiences. (no more than 350 words.)

Essay 3. Describe a major obstacle you have faced in your professional, academic, or personal life. How did you overcome this obstacle? How did this experience foster your personal and/or professional development? (no more than 500 words.)

Additional Information Essay (Optional). Please provide any additional information that was not captured within your application. If you feel you've already provided us with sufficient information about yourself, you need not add anything here. (250 words or less)

Essay 1. Discuss your long- and short-term goals, how these goals developed, and what you hope to gain from graduate study at Krannert. (Limit your responses to no more than 500 words.)
